A large stretch of Main Street in downtown Dunedin closes to vehicle traffic Saturday, Oct. 10, for the 33rd Annual Downtown Dunedin Craft Festival.
The free, two-day event runs Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 10–11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Hundreds of makers and artists from across the country will line the corridor with booths, according to ilovetheburg.com, which called the festival "one of the city's biggest yearly celebrations."
Admission is free.
Artists and makers fill Main Street
American Craft Endeavors, a national event organizer, is producing the festival. Exhibitor categories include crafts, fine art and homegrown products, according to a listing on Florida Fairs and Festivals.
Shoppers can expect ceramic planters, functional pottery, handmade jewelry and hair accessories, among other items, according to the festival's page on artfestival.com.
The weekend also includes a green market featuring artisanal soaps, specialty dips and spices, according to American Craft Endeavors.
Parking and getting around downtown
The festival address is 271 Main St. Riders using rideshare services are directed to 217 Main St. as a drop-off point. The City of Dunedin maintains a downtown getting-around guide with parking lot locations and public transit options at dunedin.gov.
