The Dunedin Fine Art Center is bringing back its pop culture convention for a second year, with tickets already on sale for an afternoon of gaming tournaments, cosplay contests and celebrity meet-and-greets on Saturday, Sept. 12.

DFAC Con 2026 will run from 2 to 8 p.m. at the center. General admission costs $25, while a limited number of VIP tickets are available for $50 and include early entry beginning at 1 p.m. Parking is free.

Nick Hodges, the center's assistant director of events and donor relations, said the event is returning after its September 2025 debut.

"The best conventions aren't measured by how much they can sell you — they're measured by the memories you take home," Hodges said in a press release issued Monday, July 14. "That's the convention we're building at DFAC Con."

Voice actors to headline convention programming

Two professional voice actors will headline the event.

Erin Nicole Lundquist, whose credits include Witch Hat Atelier, Digimon: Ghost Game and My Hero Academia, will appear alongside Zelda Khan Black, who voices Andi in Knights of Guinevere and multiple characters in Genshin Impact. Both are scheduled to participate in voice acting panels and meet fans throughout the day.

Artist Alley, gaming tournaments and cosplay planned

An Artist Alley and Vendor Hall will feature local artists and creators selling original artwork, comics, collectibles and toys. Organizers have not announced how many vendors will participate or how many took part in the inaugural event last year.

Gaming tournaments and open play will be hosted by Gamers on the Edge, a Palm Harbor-based esports charity that says it has raised more than $200,000 for children in need. The organization uses tabletop and video games to support community-building efforts across the Tampa Bay area.

The 501st Star Wars Costume Club is also scheduled to attend, and the convention will include a cosplay contest. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

More guest announcements expected
