Palm Harbor and Dunedin families with elementary-age children have a new option for the Nov. 11 school holiday: three $25 enrichment camps run by Pinellas County Schools.

The district's "Innovate • Create • Captivate Veterans Day Camps" are open to students in grades 2 through 5, according to a district newsroom post. Camps run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11.

Families pick one of three tracks:

  • STEM Inventor's Workshop: Building Big Ideas
  • SPARK Art Explorers Experience
  • Ignite Youth Choir Experience

Camps will be hosted at schools and community partner locations throughout Pinellas County. The district has not listed specific sites.

Registration costs $25 and is non-refundable.

Space is limited, according to the district's Veterans Day page. Families can register through the Student Reservation System (SRS) in Focus.
