Dunedin Blue Jays infielders JoJo Parker and Dameury Pena earned 2026 Florida State League All-Star honors, Minor League Baseball announced Tuesday, Sept. 15.

Parker, a 20-year-old shortstop ranked as Toronto's top prospect, dominated the FSL before a mid-season promotion. In 87 games at TD Ballpark, he posted an .859 OPS with 13 home runs, 66 RBI and 22 stolen bases. He tied for the league lead in RBI and OPS at the time of his Aug. 10 promotion to High-A Vancouver.

Parker ranked among FSL leaders in nine statistical categories, including second in extra-base hits (40), third in doubles (24) and walks (63), and fifth in on-base percentage (.388).

Over his final 35 games in Dunedin, Parker hit .299 with nine home runs, 39 RBI and a 1.032 OPS. His hottest week came June 17–24, when he homered four times and drove in 10 runs across six games.

Toronto drafted Parker eighth overall in the 2025 MLB Draft out of Purvis High School in Mississippi, where he was the 2025 Gatorade Mississippi High School Player of the Year. He was also selected for the MLB All-Star Futures Game in his first professional season.

After the promotion, Parker kept hitting. He batted .316 with a .443 on-base percentage in 21 games for Vancouver. He opened his High-A stint with a seven-game hit streak, according to MLB.com's playoff coverage. In Game 3 of the Northwest League Championship Series, Parker scored the winning run to break a 12-inning deadlock as Vancouver swept the Eugene Emeralds for the title.

Pena took a winding path to Dunedin. The 21-year-old second baseman started the season with the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels in the Minnesota Twins organization, where he batted .322 with 31 RBI and 19 stolen bases in 58 games. He earned FSL Player of the Week honors in April after going 10-for-16 (.625) across five games.

When the Twins promoted Pena to High-A Cedar Rapids on June 22, he led the FSL with 77 hits and a .322 average. He also led all of Minor League Baseball with a 1.69 walk-to-strikeout ratio among qualified hitters, according to the MLB.com All-Star announcement.

Toronto acquired Pena on Aug. 3 in a trade that sent Jeff Hoffman to Minnesota. Assigned to Dunedin, Pena batted .318 with four RBI in 12 games before earning his own promotion to Vancouver on Aug. 24. He appeared in 10 games for the Northwest League champions to close the season.

Parker and Pena played under Dunedin manager Ryan Casteel before their promotions. Both finished 2026 in Vancouver, where the Canadians captured their first Northwest League title since 2023 with a three-game sweep of Eugene. The Single-A season at TD Ballpark is complete, and neither player has been named to the Arizona Fall League.
