Dunedin’s cultural hub at Pioneer Park (420 Main St.) will host the annual Art In The Park outdoor art show on Sunday, Oct. 18. Located in the heart of downtown, the shaded park features an open-air gazebo, historic shaded green space, and serves as the city's primary venue for seasonal markets, live concerts, and public art gatherings. Organizers have not yet released public start times or admission details.

History Museum opens fall season with Revolutionary War program

Before Art In The Park, the Dunedin History Museum launches its fall programming with "Secrets, Scandal & Society: The Curious Affair of Benedict Arnold, Peggy Shippen & Major John André" on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 6 p.m.

The Mix & Mingle event at 349 Main St. invites attendees to explore the intrigue surrounding Arnold, Shippen and André during the American Revolution, according to the museum's event page. Ticket and capacity details were not listed on the museum's website. Residents can call (727) 736-1176 for more information.

The museum's fall calendar also includes an annual meeting Oct. 21 from 6 to 7:30 p.m., a "Spookeasy: Madame Laveau in the Voodoo Lounge" Halloween party on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. and the "Freedom in Focus: Florida's Legacy of Liberty for America 250" exhibition on view through Nov. 13. The museum is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.

Down the block, Studio 1212 Art Gallery at 234 Monroe St. is running a new exhibit called "Elements of Art: Form," listed as open daily at 11 a.m. through September.
